Version 1.8.3 of the ButtonControls library has been released. It fixes two bugs. One of them could lead to crashes. From what I can tell this happened very rarely. I never had such a crash and within 6,5 years I received only one report of such a crash (which made me aware of the problem in the first place).
The other bug that has been fixed has been introduced with version 1.8.2 and affected windowless controls (e.g. the VB6 Image control) inside the Frame control. These controls did not raise mouse events anymore.

As no problems have been found, I’ve added Windows 8 to the list of supported operating systems.
