Hi Timo!
i have s stange problem with your controls in one VISTA machine.
VISTA updates are all done, IE9 aso.
Manifest files are all ok, because everything works on other computers.
Problem;
Control texts are not displayed - instead controlnames are displayed
Also password textfield shows charaters not "dots".
Any ideas?

Re: Strange Problem
Does this happen in a compiled program that previously (or on another machine) did work correctly? Does it happen in the VB6 IDE?
It's indeed a very weird problem.
I'll setup a virtual machine with Windows Vista.

Re: Strange Problem
Yes compiled program.
All other machines are working normally (XP,Vista,Windows 7).
Only this one machine has this problem and i can't figure out what is causing this(i see this first time)

Re: Strange Problem
Which versions of my controls do you use?

Re: Strange Problem
Ok problem solved!
It was some kind of "user or security" problem.
If i created new user everything worked OK.
Thnx;

Re: Strange Problem
Wow, this must be the strangest possible result of a broken/misconfigured Windows user account. It would imply that loading the control properties from the binary stream, that is part of the program file, fails due to user rights while all the other COM calls that take place when loading the control are successful.
Could the program file be damaged by any chance?
Anyway, I'm glad you solved it.
