What is ExplorerTreeView?

Post by TiKu »

ExplorerTreeView is an ActiveX control for Visual Basic, which imitates the directory structure view of Windows Explorer. To achieve this, the control in general uses the same techniques as Windows Explorer. Because of that, ExplorerTreeView's look and feel is the same as Windows Explorer's. Of course you can customize the look and behaviour of the control to make it fit your own needs.
The control has many features. So it's able to display the content of some important archive formats (ace, bin, cab, iso, jar, rar, zip). There're also many options for filtering the tree view's content.

  • AutoUpdate (auto-updates on folder renamings etc.)
  • Drag'n'Drop
  • InfoTips
  • In-Place-Renaming
  • customizable context menus
  • supports overlay icons
